Outside, Jacqueline compliments Jane and Jane emails her the interview recording.Īs Jane arrives to work, Patrick Duchand (Peter Vack) criticizes her for missing the pitch meeting. She tells them nobody can know she’s talking to them and Jane and Jacqueline agree to keep her identity anonymous. Jane and Jacqueline Carlyle (Melora Hardin) interview Ingrid (Lyla Porter-Follows) about her experience on Pamela Dolan’s shoot, telling them that nobody helped her because everyone’s afraid of Dolan. Richard is excited for her to meet his friends as Sutton tries to keep all of the details about them straight. They talk about the dinner party, and Sutton promises it won’t end with her, Kat, and Jane in the bathtub like last time. Sutton tells Richard Hunter (Sam Page) that she doesn’t like jogging and stops to catch her breath. Kat comments that she has to compliment her as her campaign manager, and Tia tells her she doesn’t. Tia declares they’ve earned the rest of the night off, calling her amazing and inspiring. ![]() She helps Kat prepare her response and Kat talks about the racism involved in the statistic of drug arrests. Tia reads Kat the comments made by Congressman Reynolds’ on her campaign, referring to her as a girl and questioning her candidacy. Ryan suggests they could celebrate now too and Jane comments that it is a sex thing as she straddles him. Ryan tells her he wanted her to have the first copy and she declares they should celebrate, inviting him to Sutton’s dinner party. He takes the blindfold off and she is impressed by the finished copy of his book. He tells her to put her hands out and tells her this isn’t a sex thing. Ryan Decker (Dan Jeannotte) brings a blindfolded Jane to the couch and she asks if this is a sex thing. After taking the photo, they see people defacing one of Kat’s posters and chase them away. Kat tells them that Tia has been helping her learn the issues, but Sutton tells her she’s the one winning people over with her “Kat-ness” and Jane declares they need to commemorate the moment with a selfie.
